Global Village Connect works through long-term partnerships with specific communities in Uganda. These are not short-term aid projects — they are relationships built over years of shared work, trust, and accountability.
- The Abayudaya — A Jewish community in eastern Uganda with deep roots in education, music, and mutual support. GVC has partnered with the Abayudaya for years on scholarships, business training, and community development.
- K'far Rishon — A community where GVC supports education, goat distribution, and women's business programs.
- Buyanga Campus — A school and farm campus where GVC supports student education, sustainable farming, and community programs.
- Namutumba District — Home to multiple GVC business training cohorts, the Zohar Salon cooperative, and community grant recipients.
Past work
Over the years, Global Village Connect has also supported sustainable farming initiatives, clean water projects, and Pads for Girls. These programs addressed specific barriers to health, dignity, and opportunity, and their lessons inform the organization's current work.
