IRA Qualified Distribution
If you're 70½ or older, make a tax-free transfer from your IRA directly to GVC.

Can I choose where my donation goes?
Yes! You can choose to support a specific program (like buying a goat, training a business owner, or sponsoring a scholarship) or select 'Where it's needed most'. Selecting 'Where it's needed most' gives our teams on the ground the flexibility to respond to urgent needs, cover emergency care, and fill critical funding gaps as they arise.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes — Global Village Connect is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 46-1480033. Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by U.S. law. You'll receive a receipt for your records.
How will I know where my money went?
You'll be added to our newsletter (with your permission), where we share regular updates on the families and projects your donations make possible. For larger gifts, we send a personalized impact note.
Can I make my gift in someone's honor or memory?
Absolutely. After you donate, email us with the honoree's name and we'll send you (or them) a beautiful printable card.
Can I set up a recurring monthly gift?
Yes — the recurring toggle is built directly into our secure donation widget on the right. Monthly donors are the backbone of our budget.
